The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for the third episode of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to begin their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Upon first impression, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might look out of place, but the events of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in the powerful family could assist the party enter locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are sought by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the powerful family and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This results in them few options but to journey toward the remote area in search of Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Schemers groups.

Audiences can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on October 24.
